Sports & Teams

We support sports in our community from the largest annual ice hockey tournament for First Nation youth in Ontario, to our local OHL team. Roote’s Gas Bar supports kids and youth playing hockey and lacrosse.

We also support other local experiences, such as the Sauble Speedway. The best place to spend a weekend in Sauble Beach. Thrilling, exhilarating, rubber burning fun every Saturday Night form June-September!

Community Charities

Offering emergency food to unemployed and under-employed people who do not have enough food for themselves or their families. Filling the gap by providing emergency food service to its community members.

International Organizations

UNICEF is the world’s farthest-reaching humanitarian organization for children. Across 190 countries and territories, and in the world’s toughest places, they work day in and day out to help children survive. To defend their rights. To keep them protected, healthy and educated. To give them a fair chance to fulfil their potential.

UNICEF Canada was founded in 1955, and is one of 34 National Committees located in countries around the world. They are committed to racial justice and a more equitable world for every child.
